Husqvarna S2800 Composite Splitting Axe

The S2800 Splitting Axe features head geometry designed specifically for splitting, making it the ideal tool for breaking logs and preparing firewood. Its construction includes multiple layers of reinforcement—stainless steel protection and fibre reinforcement—for maximum durability and long-lasting performance.

You can also use the head’s milled backside as a hammer to strike splitting wedges (just avoid steel wedges). This added functionality makes the axe even more versatile for demanding jobs.

Splitting wood becomes effortless with the axe’s easy-entry head design. A non-stick coating reduces friction, allowing the blade to glide into logs smoothly. The head is shaped for optimal splitting force, ensuring an efficient and satisfying experience.

This is the larger model of Husqvarna’s two composite splitter axes. If you need something a bit smaller, we carry the S1600 Axe as well.
