This sappie axe, also known as a pickaroon, is a great tool for moving logs thanks to the easily usable design. The curved hook allows for easy adjusting of logs.

Sappies are similar to pike poles but are shorter and lack a metal point, with the hook curving towards the handle. All of this makes for a great tool that can move heavy objects like logs, with a good degree of control over those movements.

This particular Husqvarna sappie has orange paint on part of the handle, which gives it high visibility for ease of use in the field.
