Why Early Entry Cutting Matters

The Soff-Cut® system lets you cut concrete while it’s still green—within two hours of finishing, before the final set. This window is known as the green zone.

Missing this window allows internal stress to build as the concrete cures. That stress can lead to random cracks that weaken the structure.

Cutting during the green zone gives stress a controlled relief point. It also allows a shallower cut, keeps the slab strong, and reduces the need for joint filler.

Designed for Precision and Performance

Husqvarna Soff-Cut saws include a blade block and anti-ravel skid plate. These attach to two spring-loaded pistons at the bottom of the saw. The pistons apply steady pressure on the slab, which ensures a clean and accurate cut every time.
