The process of trimming and shaping your hedges to prime condition has never been easier than with the 122HD45 hedge cutter. The built in air purge gives the trimmer an easy start, which is also helped by Husqvarna’s Smart Start® feature.

Smart Start is a specific way in which the starter and the engine have been constructed, and it reduces the starter cord resistance by as much as a whopping 40%!

Because of this design, you should find that the 122HD45 starts quite quickly, and doesn’t require much effort at all to get going. Even better, the stop switch has an auto return feature, so once shut off it automatically goes to the ON position. This way, the trimmer is already primed and ready to start up when you want to get back to work.

We all know that when you’re using a tool like a hedge trimmer, it can be uncomfortable if vibrations from the running engine are hitting your hands and arms. Husqvarna knows this as well, and as a result have given the 122HD45 hedge cutter an excellent LowVib system.

This feature reduces the vibrations emitted from the throttle control and handle, giving you better grip and control over the hedger and relieving you of that bit of discomfort.
