Obstacle Detection and Passage Handling

Advanced sensors help the mower detect and avoid obstacles without getting stuck. It also identifies narrow passages and adjusts its route automatically to avoid track marks. The 550 is ideal for larger gardens, public lawns, or commercial landscapes.

With the Husqvarna 550, two different apps are available to give you the best possible control over your mowing experience. With Automower® Connect and Husqvarna Fleet Services™, you can easily adjust your mower’s cutting height and other settings, as well as tell it to park, stop or start.

You can even set up weekly timer schedules so that the mower will consistently mow when you choose. Plus, with the Husqvarna Fleet Services app – which you can also use via tablet or PC – you can monitor and operate multiple HFS compatible devices at once. So if you have a fleet of 550 robot mowers, you can control all of them from a single device.

Both apps let you track the location of the mower while it’s on the job, or if it goes missing – this is also great in case of theft, so you always know where your 550 is at. As an additional safety feature, you can set a high sounding alarm that will go off when the mower is carried away.

This alarm can only be turned off by using a PIN code which is unique to the mower. You can also check the status of the mower, and tell it to start or stop, via the controls found on the 550 mower itself.

Because of the sensors built into the 550 robotic mower, it will automatically switch off the blades if it tips over or is picked up. This keeps you safe and avoids the risk of injury.

And not only that, these sensors also help to avoid obstacles, keeping the mower’s exterior in good condition. With the Husqvarna 550’s fantastic capabilities, your machine will keep providing high quality results for plenty of time to come.
